The service offered by the company allows for a fast Wi-Fi connection, i.e., high-frequency wireless Internet made possible thanks to a connection system based on radio waves, making this connection completely independent of the national telephone network.
In short, to use Popwifi services, all you need to do is install an antenna or modem on the roof of your home and then connect it to your computer with a network cable.
This solution obviously has several advantages , the most important of which is the possibility for many areas that are still not reached by cable ADSL to still have a good Internet connection.
And then, thanks to the radio technology used by this company, the advantage remains even for those who live in areas that are otherwise covered by cable ADSL, because Popwifi allows connection costs to be reduced – obviously for the same service – by half compared to the rates charged by national operators. In short, these are decidedly significant advantages.
The service is activated simply by having the company’s operators install the antenna on loan for use in line with the repeater. You then need to prepare brackets to secure the antenna and run a UTP cable (gen. 5E ) between the antenna and your computer.
During installation, utilities are paid in six-monthly installments for private individuals and three-monthly installments for businesses. As can be seen, the company’s services are aimed at both private individuals and businesses and entrepreneurs . A final advantage is that all offers are fully customizable based on individual needs.
However, despite the extremely high efficiency and fast connection promised by Popwifi, it may happen that you are not satisfied or that for any reason you want to cancel and terminate the contract .

A presence on Facebook is important and advantageous, because it allows you to send a direct message to the company without having to call anyone, indicating the reason why you are contacting them and the details relating to the contract and the owner .
If the situation requires it, they may initiate the cancellation request directly; otherwise, they will provide you with the necessary contact information, such as the operator you need to speak to to activate the procedures.
Another simple and smart way to contact Popwifi is to use the contact form on the company website, at www.popwifi.it/contats . Simply fill out the form with your email address, phone number, and city of residence. You can easily send your request, and a response will be sent to the email address you provided .
Even better is to access your Customer Area , where you can not only contact the company but also download the cancellation form , which you will then need to send to Popwifi. To access it, simply click on the Customer Area item , the last one in the top right corner of the website screen.

Cancellation within the first 14 days of activation
Like any company, by law, Popwifi gives customers who have signed a contract 14 days to cancel without deactivation fees or penalties. This is called the right to a cooling off period , and it protects customers who are dissatisfied with the service during this initial period.
The Consumer Code states that a customer in such conditions can cancel the contract within 14 calendar days of its activation without having to pay penalties or provide any reasons .
As mentioned, however, this option is only available if you stay within the indicated time period. To cancel your contract, you must send the company a written notification indicating your intention , within the appropriate timeframe.
The letter must contain all the personal information of the person to whom the Popwifi contract is registered, and obviously a completely explicit request to terminate the contract . Remember to sign it so that the company considers it valid.
Scan the letter (or the form if you prefer, and find it more convenient) along with a valid ID of the recipient, and then send it to the email address indicated in the contact section, which we repeat here: amministrazione@asdasd.it .
Within one month of receiving the letter, Popwifi will cancel the service , without you having to pay any penalties.
Cancellation after 14 days from activation
Cancellations that occur after the 14-day right of withdrawal granted by law are divided into two different types :
- Fixed-term cancellation occurswhen the contract is approaching its expiration date and is valid only if your contract actually expires, such as subscriptions with a minimum duration of two years. If you wish to cancel after the minimum term, you must send the request—similarly to the cancellation within 14 days— two months before the contract expires .
- Early termination ,which occurs before the natural end of the contract (in this case, two years). In this case, too, you must communicate your intention two months before the desired date, but unlike fixed-term termination, which is free of charge, in this case you will have to pay a penalty of €150 . The procedure, however, is always the same: written notification, scanned along with a document, and sent to the email address indicated above.
Cancel to switch to another operator
The procedures outlined above are valid and can only be used if you wish to completely discontinue the service . If, however, you wish to terminate the contract because you have found a more convenient option with a competing company, then you do not need to follow the procedures outlined above ; simply signing the contract with the new company will be enough.
The new operator will handle the transfer and cancellation of the previous contract. It’s worth noting, however, that radio services are quite rare in Italy, and it’s an exclusive service, so unless you move or competitors arrive , it’s unlikely you’ll find a better deal elsewhere.
Return the devices
Please remember, however, that regardless of the type of cancellation you receive, you will have to return all the equipment provided to you on loan to Popwifi , and you will have to do so within two weeks of the cancellation.
If you don’t, Popwifi will charge you €10 for each day you’re late, up to a maximum of €100. Even if you cancel, you’ll still have to pay your bills (since the request must be made two months before the effective date), otherwise you’ll face further penalties.
